Worst Movie Scenes of All Time Episode 10: Sybil

Episode 10 features a scene from Sybil, the acclaimed TV movie from 1977 starring Sally Field. Now by posting this, in no way am I poking fun at or condoning child abuse.
You whiny emo punks don't know what bad parents are. This scene is just so bizarre, especially for a TV movie where everything is usually very mundane and by the numbers. The mom is like some insane playground bully. So while this isn't a "bad" scene in terms of filmmaking or anything, the "worst" part (that allows it to fit in the series) is that she's the worst mom ever.
Okay, so it's a bit of a cheat, but still... the scene made me wonder "WTF?!" a few times. It brings me joy in a way opposite of what the filmmaker intended.

Sybil - Walk On By
Walk On By (1989)
An excellent vocalist and one of the finest among disco divas, New Jersey singer Sybil has come close to pop stardom but has not yet attained it. She worked with Ce Ce Rogers in Ce Ce & Company before signing with Next Plateau. Though her songs have been well received by club audiences, R&B fans have been slower to warm to her cool but expertly sung numbers. She got the best general response to her remake of "Don't Make Me Over" in 1989. Her other songs didn't reach the R&B Top 40. Sybil signed with the Stock, Aitken & Waterman team in 1990, and the single "Make It Easy on Me" was issued shortly afterward. In 1993, she released Doin' It Now for Next Plateau.
